True, but the general consensus here (on RP) is that if you start a forum, you can set the guidelines for it and try to keep the discussion within those guidelines. It's a self-policing system, granted, but most folks are respectful of it.

Not easy to do - but most of us try. {#Sunny}

My dad was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's last month.  My brother "B" is spending a lot of time taking care of him, he's had to cancel a surgery dad was scheduled to have this month that would have cleared up dad's problems with incontinence because dad is too weak to survive the operation.  I'm not sure he's going to get better.  He's developed bed sores and doesn't notice them.  My brother "G" was talking to dad the other day and after he left, dad said, "That was a nice young man, what was his name?"  After almost choking I told dad, "His name is G" and dad didn't even recognize his own son's name.

They're right when they call Alzheimer's "The Long Good-Bye"

So sorry to hear this, Stu.  Will pray for you all.

Yes it's the hardest seat in the house.

I made it at the age of 39, 15 years ago this month for my dad. That was the hardest day of my life so far.

I hope everything goes peacefully for you and your family tomorrow. {#Hug}
