  Exactly. It's so much worse with single letters or numbers, since there's no context. They look haphazard and crooked, like the signmaker was three sheets gone before picking up a brush.

Olympic mascots have always been a strange breed, almost universally creepy. I don't know if I've even seen the mascots, now I'll have to go look for them.
