Christmas eve was a rousing success here at The Roost.  Much ham, spoon bread, and green bean casserole was eaten, much wine was drunk, and much laughter was shared.  Christmas morning was lovely, with yummy coffee sent by my sister, and soft biscuits, left over ham, and peach preserves sent by my aunt.  Then, the movies.  Now, back home again, with the sauerbraten in the oven about 2 hours later than hoped for, and a hot gin punch on the stove, even though it's 62 degrees out.  Happy Crimble, RPeeps!

Lovely.

I don't get a Return-Space-Return issue when posting new posts or replies.

If I just use a return to create an extra line in between things, it won't put it in there unless I add a space before the second return. It's been that way for about 4 years now.

I scrolled down and saw more full defintions:
1

:  to wait for :  await

2

a :  to endure without yielding :  withstand

b :  to bear patiently :  tolerate <cannot abide such bigots>

3

:  to accept without objection <will abide your decision>

Our official go-to is Merriam-Webster:

to accept or bear (someone or something bad, unpleasant, etc.)

: to stay or live somewhere

: to remain or continue

So maybe the intent of the movie is the first one? Ha ha...

In any event, I wanna use The Dude in the answer sentence!

(I'm sofa king tired of posts not accepting a return unless you return, space, return)
