Good to hear. We just got back from Kayaking to Jetty island. The tide was out, so we walked about 300 yards out on the flats and never got to our ankles - weird. I wonder what Skagit bay looked like today?  We've got a nice breeze across the bay that is keeping it tolerable as long as you are in the shade, also fans bringing cool air up from the lower levels.

Evening walk with amazing on-shore breeze. Temperature dropped about 10 degrees F while we were sitting there. Hasn't made it up the bluff though.

Open windows, ceiling fans, cool beverages. We're laying low until evening. If we do anything at all, it will be getting the garden fountain going. So far it's only 79°F in the courtyard, which is a bit of a heat sink. Humidity at 25%. Breeze is picking up, and clouds are forming overhead.

Also? That expensive heat pump gives us super-efficient A/C.

But thanks for checking.

Today is ours. Supposed to be in the 90s, even by the water. Sunscreen, lemonade and kayaks are at the ready. Some one needs to check on BHD, I hope she survives.

Speaking of water, a number of years back we were in the middle of a heat wave and this particular day was too hot to bear so we packed the kids in the van and drove to the shore (Bay of Fundy). Only a dozen minutes away. It was so cold, we turned around. When we got back to the valley, the heat felt so nice.

You can take only so many clothes off when it's hot before you get into trouble.
You can add lots of clothes when it's cold.

Right now outside... I could get arrested.
Or get attacked by all the older ladies in the neighborhood. {#Mrgreen}

It's getting "Very Hot" according to the paper.

It is only 110 right now... 10+ more next week.
