Changing rapidly...was sunny and  60something when we left here at 1ish to go visit Dave's dad....by the time we got a couple errands done and got back here, it was 15 degrees colder, cloudy, and blowing up a gale.  So much for yard work.

Sweet buttery jeezus (.25 to BHD)!

A couple hours of pouring rain and there is standing water all over the roads/corners/intersections....what a WRONG day to run a bunch of errands.

Yesterday it was pretty rough - today however is fantastic.
My initial wording seems backward. Today (November 22nd) was GREAT.
Yesterday (Friday) was sketchy and stormy. That was when I took this video.

Even though each cat has its own private litter-box they'd still rather go out in the rain or 17F to do their thing outside. The boxes are only used in extreme emergencies.
As I still have one of the 3 furnaces broken it was 48 in my downstairs bedroom this morning and a whopping 52 upstairs. If I ever want the main furnace to ever do anything except keep the meece and roaches warm I'll have to rip up the wood floor in the hallway to redo the ductwork thats fallen apart. There is no other way to get at it as the house it built right on the ground except for a small cellar. They even dug furrows for the floor joists. The dirt is just inches under the floorboards. When they installed the ductwork after they took out the radiators they dug a tunnel from the cellar all the way back down under the main hallway and then did the far end sections first and worked their way back to the cellar. They left no way to get back in there for future repairs. Of course rather than tear up the floor I could always move the furnace and then take apart all the ductwork a section at a time and replace it all. But thats even more work than tearing up and replacing the floor.

It sure was nice while it lasted (the reprieve from the rain), and the sun was wonderful even though it was cold out. I sure hope the mold doesn't get out of control again once the rain starts again. It was nice not to have to use the inhaler as much.
