Warming up and windy as get-out.  Time to get back in the habit of monitoring the fire emergency web site.

I hear rain on the roof. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if it kept up for 24 hours or so.

An update from the huge rainstorm we had last Monday.
It apparently dumped more rain than I thought... some places got over 3" in an hour.
Here's what happened to the town (Indian Wells) just west of us...

I worked on some of those homes last year because they got flooded.
Especially the one towards the end, with the big dirty pond in the backyard/ fairway, looks like it got it again.
The one on the right where he flies his drone into the cul-de-sac, and catches it. I did a huge remodel on it, at the beginning of the year.
It looks like it made it okay.

These are very expensive homes. And most people don't live in them this time of the year.

I was wrong about the 1.5 inches... it was 2.2 inches.
The neighbor up the hill from me made the evening news. When water went through her house.
When we get a 1/4 inch of rain around here, we get flooded.
It was Water World around here today.
