Thanks Dave. Not sure if we'll be doing surgery at this point. He's an old guy and if it is malignant and aggressive then we'll likely take the best care of him that we can as long as there is decent quality to his life. He is a tough and smart old guy. My Father is quite attached to him, although he pretends not to be.

Cats are tough. My first Russian Blue was attacked by a Pit Bull that had him by the rear end and shook him and tore a 4 inch tear from his rear up the side and damaged his intestines. He not only survived the surgery and 111 stitches but he lived to one month short of 20.

Thank you. He's doing pretty well right now. Still kind of weak. He has been suffering with a growth in his, shall we say, rear outlet port, and we're not sure whether it's malignant or not. Last week he struggled so much he pushed some of his intestines out. I've never seen anything like that. It was quite the bloody mess and it upset my Father but I  gathered him up and took him in. There was another complication that made us wait until the next morning. They got him realigned so to speak and found the growth. Put a stitch in and feed him soft food and wait for the results of the biopsy to know how to proceed. He is a durable animal, I'll say that. {#Good-vibes}

Some good vibes please for an old friend, known around these parts as Kitty Cat. He belongs to neighbors but he belongs to my Dad by default. He's a pretty old guy and not doing well at all. We are all going to miss him if it goes bad, but boy did he rule for a long long time.

That face and those eyes. Hope everything works out for the best.
