Especially now that they're just about at the scamping age!

And yeah - I know the cat didn't consider it pampering; however, she didn't have to find shelter, she didn't have to find her own food, she didn't hear a whole lot of predators and always watch her back...she looked pretty damned relaxed a good deal of the time. And now she'll be back in the harsher conditions, and on drugs. I'm sure she'll be okay, but there's gotta be some adjustment she'll need.

I wonder if it will take some adjustment going back to forest conditions after being pampered inside for so long, and having to be more alert and on guard. Especially with anesthesia wearing off in her system. I know it worked out for the other 2 cats, but it's kind of colder now....

You didn't miss much. It kind of turned into a posing and flirting-with-the-chatters fest — at least when I looked in. I would've liked to have seen the construction and expertise in action.

I have a feeling that many of those young guys weren't real contractors, but perhaps (since it was a volunteer job) just sons and nephews and friends of the REAL guys, who got rounded up to help. I noticed there were always 2-3 inside that never even looked up at the camera and just kept on plowing through what needed to be done—those were probably the real deal guys.

typical union. 15 guys show up to the job and only 4 or 5 do the actual work

what allergies does she have? this stuff is made of corn.

We're trying this stuff. Have both boxes going now. She has peed in the new litter, but not pooped there yet. It certainly seems better than the other stuff. Much less smelly/dusty.

She has asthma. We give her a shot now and then that mostly controls it. The litter we use is pretty cheap though and I think the new formulation has more dust, so I wonder if that is bugging her. I can't tell if it is a protest poop or something else. She never did it before when her stuff was in the basement and this is definitely a nicer arrangement.

Hey all. Our cat has decided to randomly poop outside her cat box (about 6 feet away in the hallway) on occasion - once a week or so. this is a new development since we re-opened out basement and mover her cat box back to a nice room there about where her box used to be. I think they changed up the formula on the generic petsmart litter we are using and it may be bothering her allergies.

Some people here had made a recommendation on favorite litter, but I wasn't able to track it down.  I think it was Arm&Hammer something. Any recommendations?

Yes, it was Arm and Hammer. Remarkably no odor.
