Here in TX, the highway that goes to Eagle Ford Shale drilling has experienced numerous fatal deaths from too much traffic and overweighted trucks on too-small roads. Their air is choked with fumes and smoke and the area is seeing a rise in 'man camps' and 'sex entertainment businesses.' The county has gone to Austin to plead with the capitol for funding to help alleviate this mess.... but to no avail. A steeper-than-expected rise in US shale oil reserves is about to change the global balance of power between new and existing producers, a report says.
Over the next five years, the US will account for a third of new oil supplies, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) .
The US will change from the world's leading importer of oil to a net exporter.
