I had gone off for hours, leaving my Windows 8 laptop playing the RP Windows 8 app, and I noticed that the music that was playing didn't match the playlist.  It had been on the high quality stream.  I heard CAKE's song "Never Here", but didn't see it in the playlist.  I had been used to seeing the title showing superimposed on the slideshow images to getting a few seconds ahead, so I thought it would catch up, but then another song started that wasn't on the playlist.  I tried looking at the CAKE song directly to see what was the last time it played, but that doesn't seem to be displayed anymore on the, apparently, redesigned web site.   Anyway, I clicked over to the Medium quality Streams and it seems to have fixed the problem.

EDIT - I just switched it back to the High Quality stream and it is the same as the Medium Quality stream now.  Neil Young, Long May You Run is playing and that is what the playlist shows.

EDIT2 - 11:14 am - Cake - Never There is what I see in the playlist.  Why would the app start playing what it played about twelve hours ago?  Does it cache the stream?

Hey Bill,

There's no audio on the RP Roku app.  Pic only in the stream, no sound.

Your station ID came up in the middle of the Queen song and then the KT Tunstall song played at the same time until the Queen song ended. A cool way to squeeze in more songs I guess {#Beat}.

Found an issue that was causing songs to show the song title, but not actually play.

Still working on the occasionally very slow response times.

PSD now works, but it takes almost a full minute to start the play of a PSD tune.  Was I not waiting long enough for it to kick in???

Again, I'm starting out with the browser player off, so that wait is in silence, not with the undesired tune playing.

Since I'd like to hear something truly different, I typically click the PSD two or seven times to get a song that I haven't heard in a while. To me, PSD isn't a song that's in regular rotation. < /polite rant >

After the initial delay, each of the subsequent PSD songs started within a second or two of the click. After the acceptable PSD song finished, the browser player segued right back to the main stream.

PSD isn't working for me.

I usually listen via Wimamp. When I want to PSD, I stop Winamp and go the browser (FF 35.0 - updated this morning.) Most of the time, that will will get me PSDing.

Today I clicked PSD and the only thing that happened was that a PSD tune showed up on the playlist. Nothing played. I gave it 30+ seconds and gave up by clicking Stop. I then clicked the Play button to 1) confirm that the player works - it did and started playing the main stream, and 2) find out if the PSD now only functions when the main stream is playing first.

Since the main stream was still playing a tune I didn't want to hear, I clicked PSD.  The PSD song started playing simultaneously with the main stream, so I was treated to a mashup of Carol King and The Beatles. I clicked Stop to end the pain.

As I started typing this post, the main stream started on its own. I clicked stop again and it did in fact stop.

The PSD is doing that for me as well with FF and Chrome, which is somewhat troubling with a Dave Matthews' tune playing.  I don't use the PSD often, but I have not seen it do that before.  Some sort of DMB possession?

Oddly, now it's doing something even weirder.

When I click PSD, the button lights for about a second, and then it switches to the main stream. I closed FF and tried Chrome and it does the same thing. I've got another PC in the office an it does the same thing on both FF and Chrome. When the main stream starts after clicking PSD, the sound flutters for a second and then stabilizes. I tried lowering the bitrate from 192k to 96k and same thing. Both are running Win7.

Chrome Yosemite same thing.

Hit PSD: Ravel/Bolero came on. It starts quietly so I'll assume it was playing. Hit PSD again and the wheels fell off. Chattered a second or so then jumped back to the main, repeat, chatter, main... about 5 times before it worked. Now it's working properly the last 3 times I tried it.
