Havent been around in awhile but I've been grooving on the RP mobile App and wanted to comment on it.

It's great to have the caching feature but I have some questions about it. I loaded up 10 hours of music for a road trip and then played it while cruising.

- there is long dead air between songs, 90 to 120 seconds.
- between every song there is a "You're listening to Radio Paradise" break. Sometimes, there are two in a row.
- the ends of all the songs are being cut off. maybe last 2-3 seconds.

I don't mind the RP breaks but the long long silences are weird. It doesn't look like a grab of current or past programming. And the cut-off songs are weird too.  Can we get these items fixed? The nice thing about the RP stream is the mixes, and those are absent in the App.

How does caching work in the mobile App? If you tick the right boxes and have no Innernets then does the App fall back to cache? What gets downloaded when you select the "clear and fill cache?"

Sometimes I wish I could go backwards too.

Platform is Android 4.4 KitKat, HTC-1.

As you might have guessed, that is NOT how that is supposed to work. Cached programming should sound exactly like RP normally does.

I'd suggest deleting the app & reinstalling it from the Play Store. If that doesn't help, please email me and we'll figure out what's going on.

How did this happen?

In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.

Hi Bill,

Is it possible to change the song lyrics CCS styling to NOT be light text on a dark background?

I (and a lot of people I know) get retina burnout after reading reversed out copy for more than a few seconds - its like looking at a bright light and having spots before your eyes but with lines instead.

As usual, thanks for everything else on the site :)

I'll be back to the office in a bit & I'll try again to sort this out. In the meantime,  I could use some troubleshooting help. Chances are very good that one of these links is glitching and one of them isnt. That would be very helpful info.
