OK. Sorry about the delay in getting this straightened out.  I'm pretty sure it should be OK now.

I've been listening for about a half hour now and sounds all clear to me. Lovely!

I'll be back to the office in a bit & I'll try again to sort this out. In the meantime,  I could use some troubleshooting help. Chances are very good that one of these links is glitching and one of them isnt. That would be very helpful info.

I have been experiencing these hiccups in the stream for the last week or so too. I've tried these four streams, but all of them exhibit the same annoying glitches and pauses.

Something has changed recently which has made listening a little less like Paradise.  O_o

Listening to porcupine Tree right now at 2:54 EST  - couple little skips then a crunchy thing - sounded like someone bumped the tone arm on the turntable.
Occasionally I get a "rebuffering stream" pop up window.

Hi Bill,
Sorry to report that I'm still getting quite a few jumps. It does seem to be more random now... i.e., one song jumped 5 or 6 times the next just once. I'm listening to http://stream-tx1.radioparadise.com:80/aac-128 on iTunes.
Thanks,

The problem I've been tracking down isn't about dropouts. It's about quick little glitches or jumps in the audio. I think you may be having an entirely different problem from the one that some earlier posters are talking about. The next time it happens, try switching to 96k & see if that works better.

If anyone is still hearing the glitches, please let me know.

What I'm hearing/seeing is apparently a total signal dropout - when the stream comes back, Winamp does its popup thing in the lower RH as though the stream just started/tune just changed.

PSD is not a stream. It's a file download/playback. Way more immune to network congestion than a true stream is.

That's why we're switching to a download+playback model in our mobile apps (Android out now, iOS as soon as it receives the AppleBlessing)

Just tried another possible fix.  If you hear it again, the exact stream relay you're connected to (ie: stream-tx3.radioparadise.com/ogg-192) would be very helpful.  I'm still not sure which of the sources is glitching, and most of the stream links contain a mix of relays fed from both sources.
