Would it be possible to add that to the permission requests. This could be an issue with the tablet itself as I don't have any other devices with 5.02 installed other than this one.

Also wanted to say I love the app and use the heck out of it on my other devices.

Thanks

Hi Jarro, I did try moving the app to the SD card but it still only offers the internal memory as a option for cache location. I read in a thread somewhere that if the app asks for permission to access the SD card then it will work. The only other way was to root the device and I am not too comfortable with that option.

Thanks,
Gerry

I should have mentioned, it is this tablet that is the problem. As I understand it although Android 5.02 allows SD access the developer who sets up the device needs to implement it and on this tablet they did not do that. So I am left with the option of rooting the device or having the app ask for permission. I do also use Foobar on this device and it can access the SD card.

Is there a reason that you need the More key rather than making all comments available always? Thanks!

We could add a 'find your comment' feature.  I'll consider that for the new site design that we're working on.

Showing all of the comments wouldn't be practical. Many songs have hundreds or even thousands of comments — most of which people would very rarely scroll down for, but that would load — images & everything — each time that song's info page is loaded. That would waste a lot of bandwidth & slow down the page load considerably.

We're working on a 'endless scroll' function (kind of like Facebook's newsfeed) so that scrolling back through the comments will be a lot less clunky.

Yes, if you download & then delete a cache block without listening to it — and then download another one during the same day — it will download from the same time period. Under some circumstances it may do that even if you listened to the block you deleted, but that's not the normal behavior (& that bug will be fixed soon).

When you say 'cache ahead', are you referring to cache blocks (loaded by tapping 'Add Block' on the cache screen) or the buffering-ahead function (adjusting the settings in the box at the top of the cache screen).

I just loaded 2 cache blocks & they are definitely not the same.

EDIT:  oops. I'm not sure why I thought you were using our Android app. Checking the iPhone app now.

What‘s happeing here? I can’t see this being useful if I can only cache ahead from what I’ve already listened to.

More info: iPhone 7, latest iOS, latest RP version. I did uninstall and re-install the app. Saving a cache, it always starts on Feb 8 at the same spot. Every time I listen to all my cache and go try to save some more to cache, i starts back at Feb 8 and records what I've already listened through.

Please help. I'd love to love RP, but I can't if its Groundhog Day trying to save music to listen to.

Everyone thinks they want that but having a DJ put your least favorite songs into a segue with something you like can sometimes (sometimes) help you gain an appreciation for the crap song. So even tho I don't like some songs, I rarely hit PSD. Sometimes, tho. *click* *click* *click* *click* *click*
