Did you do the recent Flash update? PSD uses Flash under some circumstances.  It shouldn't with Firefox (works OK for me in FF/Mac, & I haven't done the update) — but I suspect that's the issue.

Thanks to your question I went down a rabbit hole and conclude that the problem is on my end. I did indeed upgrade to flash-player-11.2.202.440 on the 28th. Thanks for putting me on the right track.

For the sake of any lurkers with a similar issue, Firefox thinks I'm running an older vulnerable version of Flash. On Windows this is a common problem and indicates that Adobe's updater failed to successfully remove the old version. But this isn't Windows, I update via my distro's package manager that doesn't have that problem, and a search of my system comes up with only one Flash plugin with a timestamp matching the update. Also on my supposedly identical emergency failsafe machine, I have the same versions of Firefox and Flash running on the same OS, but PSD works fine. So it's clearly a problem on my end and sorry for the false alarm.

PSD isn't fully working for me today. I press PSD, the playing song fades out, the PSD song name and album art appears, but I get no sound. The song in the main stream that  I PSDed ends, the next song on in the main stream plays and finishes, but I can't hear anything. When that song ends, I rejoin the main stream and I can hear again.

Firefox 35.0 on Linux. Several privacy and security add-ons are enabled, but they've never interfered with PSD before. I'll be happy to help troubleshoot if it would help.

Silence is not golden.  Not when it comes to the RP stream.  :-)

Thick as a brick wrapped up and then a whole bunch of silence.  Oops.  Your v/o just came on.

About 2-3-4 minutes of silence?

Bad file on TAAB.  I updated it with a remastered version & my slick new audio file processing system choked on it. Might have something to do with the file size...  Will fix.

It kicked me out for an hour or so but afterwards I was able to delete all the multiple posts. When I made the post in this thread it took about 15 minutes total to get it to post.

It's something that happens if you click a link while a page is in the early stages of loading, after having fully loaded a page with a short vertical length (like the post editor). Good enough. Maybe it used to be more annoying/evident because we were also having slow page loading, which you fixed some time ago?

Starting to see that old issue sometimes, where the main frame doesn't entirely fill the browser window. Right now there's about an inch of the dark gray background at the bottom of the window, sometimes it's half of the window. Once it starts, it's persistent until I leave RP and come back... Correction: It just corrected itself after making this post and clicking a different topic. I hadn't observed that before.

Mac, Chrome, Yosemite, not reproducible but it seems to start after making a post...

My PSD is giving silence too. It actually shows a new tune in the playlist, but then goes back to GLB.

My PSD is fine, altho there's a 30-second delay before the song kicks in.

I assume westslope's comment only indicates he's been clicking the PSD but never noticed how that usually displays on his playlist.

Very weird one. I'm investigating.

It was stuck on Fatboy, then updated somewhat (not to the current song at the time though, it just came forward in time an hour or so)(I remember because I was finally able to click on John Cougar and rate him a 4) and then it came forward again to Grant Lee Buffalo, but again that happened some time after that song had played. And there it sits.
