It's definitely something that's happening at the ISP level.

What happens if you open these 2 URLs in a player like iTunes?  (File -> Open Stream  — I think):

http://stream-tx3.radioparadise.com/mp3-128
http://stream-tx3.radioparadise.com:8048

That's the same stream, via 2 different methods.  If those both work OK, try opening this one in Chrome or FF:

http://stream-tx3.radioparadise.com/ogg-192

I've been unable to replicate this problem. It's a weird one. My current theory is that it's caused by caching web proxies at ISPs. Who is your service provider?  Do you have any way to temporarily switch to another network (mobile phone hotspot, neighbor's WiFi from another provider, anything like that)?

EDIT:  one other piece of data that might be helpful is to check your browser's console log (in Chrome: View -> Developer -> Javascript Console). After that's open, click the 'network' tab & start the main stream. Does it show multiple failed connections to ogg-192 (or ogg-96) — or does it show one attempted connection that takes a long time to load?

Lots of time outs and "Connection reset by gHost" this morning. Its taking me several minutes to post. Slow as Mole Assess. I can't even access the "What Makes You Laugh Thread" times out every time. And that doesn't make me laugh unfortunately.
