I call for a penalty shot for questioning the shot rule maker's ruling on the shot rule he made. Maybe Maker's Mark.
And a bonus shot if you can decipher the garbled up mess above. {#Lol}

I'd vote for him for AL MVP n a heartbeat. In fantasy baseball - I know, I know, it's played on the field, not the puter... he's ranked #3. Blackmon is #1. These ranks are a really good composite of stats, and don't include any fielding stats, which drive his real life value higher IMO.
There really is no one else - Jose Ramirez from Cleveland (who???) has similar stats (#5) , and Judge(#10) as this season to date's phenom rook is fun as hell to watch. Neither of them plays for a team that has a 17 game division lead. If form holds, he'll be close to unanimous.

Who's #2, you may ask? Or maybe not, but I'll tell ya anyway {#Lol}

It's Chris by God Sale his own self. First AL pitcher ever in the history of the whole cosmos to have 200 K's before August. {#Cheers}

  Since 2014 every time the Cards have come to Wrigley for a regular season series I have managed to attend at least one of the games.  I see no reason to stop now.   See you all tomorrow.

The Cubs have won every game since the all star break, all of them on the road. So, tonight, we get:

1 shot for last night's rain-delayed game win that we didn't stay up for

1 shot for today's win

1 shot for the current sweep of The Braves

1 shot for the full road trip sweep

GO CUBS!!!

When all the home-team announcers have to offer as enticement to watch the game is, "Can they keep finding new ways to lose?"

Love that GIF. And i totally forgot that i actually did see a second MLB game. (Just came to me as i was slurping some soup) Worked for a company that was based in Windsor, ON. They flew me and a co-worker down and took us to a Tigers game at Tigers Stadium (late 90's), just across the border. We were seated not far behind the first base. I was impressed at how close we were and at how small the park/stadium was.

Tiger Stadium was a special place.  I got to go there the last year it was open and see a Tribe / Tigers game.  It was a very intimate place.  I tooled around during the game and made it down to the entrance to the seats behind Home plate.  It was so close and the view was different than any other park I've visited.  You felt almost like you were in your living room watching the game.  It was that comfortable and cozy feeling.  IIRC, they had one of the biggest and deepest center fields of any park.  The Detroit Lions played their home football games there back in the day, too.

The stadiums I have been to so far:

Candlestick when it was brand new in the 50's and 60's.  Now gone.

Chavez Ravine / Dodger Stadium in the 60's  also very intimate for a larger park.

The Big A in Anaheim when it was brand new in the 60's.  It was not closed off yet and you could watch freight trains pass by beyond the outfield fence during a game.  They always quite a racket with their horns when they went by.

Good old Cleveland Municipal Stadium which was huge beyond belief.  80,000 or so seats and the poles which messed up sight lines but hey, was what it was.  Also gone.

The Jake / Progressive Field of course.  Since it was new in the 90's.

Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh.  Never saw any games there, but lots of concerts including Pink Floyd for the WYWH tour.  Now gone.

And Tiger Stadium.
