I've only ordered from them twice before, and my orders have been about 2 years apart. Maybe they're punishing me?

Interesting that this particular item doesn't show up on Amazon. I know they've sold out and I'm afraid that I'm not going to get my order. {#Grumpy}

Guess I'll give it a little more time.

No, but from time to time I see people have issues. *reads message again* January 9? It's not time to panic yet. Their shipping is notoriously slow.* For some reason, even tho they're owned by Amazon now, they like to sit on stuff in their warehouse for a while.

I don't know but maybe they take the orders before getting them all together in their Texas warehouse. So Amazon says "We have 50000 of these widgets spread across 8 warehouses, we need to Woot 'em!" So Woot sees how many they can sell, then Amazon moves that many from around the country/globe to Texas so woot can do a mass shipment. Rather than cob up the normal Amazon shipping lanes/equipment, y'know?

Or maybe it's just to remind us that woot is not amazon and if it's $5 more at Amazon, at least you'll get it in a reasonable time.

*Just today, woot is selling "TVs for watching the Big Game" and some incredulous person posted

"The Big Game is coming?" Does this mean they will actually arrive in time for the Superbowl, or some other big game?

 and woot wrote back:

Haha! Fair enough.. We're aiming for Super Bowl 2014, as in a couple weeks. Buuuut.... :) I mean you know how we get our big holidays and games and things mixed up sometimes.
