Pops is now making his 5th bathroom trip of the day,but thankfully,he's strong enough to do it on his own.3 days ago he couldn't even stand up.Now I've got to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated,which might mess up my early sleep plans.
No more Generals Tso's shrimp for you!

I had a phone battery that was always on the charger and rarely ran til dead and it got to the point it would only hold a charge for 5 minutes. I bought a new battery and for some reason never tossed the old one out. It sat in a drawer for 2 years. For grins I tried using it again and now it holds a charge for hours... |

Yes it usually can to some extent but even if you had been discharging it every time the battery will still loose some efficiency over time. |

My current Macbook battery is a couple of years old and I haven't always been religious about charging/discharging it; most of those two years have been simply running while hooked up to the charger. A few weeks ago (I think about the time I replaced my hard drive) I started trying to be more studious about it. At that time, the app showed the battery's current capacity to be 76%. I naturally assumed that this number would continue to decline as the battery aged. However, after these past few weeks of running it down to dead/nearly dead before charging it, the current capacity suddenly shows up as 81%. Is it possible that charging/discharging can actually "heal" the battery? Or is the app just inaccurate? |
