Depends on the purpose of the pants: covering the parts or covering the legs.

at least those sounds like firecrackers.  I am not looking forward to the asshat across the street doing what he did last year.  Got his crotch rocket out and burned rubber for a full ten minutes.

I'd love to have one of those electronic gizmo guns that shuts down or wrecks a vehicle's electronics. Just for folks like your asshat neighbor and the lunatics who blow down my residential street at 60mph.

This is exactly what guns are for.

Shoot them sumbitches and cull the herd.

Jus remember, you git in more trouble if they survive than if they die.

Gun control is critical, so hold er steady and squeeze the trigger slowly ...

I spent a New Years Eve in Tucson one time. Was snoozing quietly on the sofa with my then girlfriend who lived there and we were woken at midnight by the sounds of gunfire all around. Yee Haw!

That's scary. It always makes me wonder when I hear those noises but, so far in my hood, I think it's only been firecrackers & fireworks.

Fortunately not. People were doing this on Christmas night too. Now they're doing it again - maybe since it's so warm out they're lighting the firecrackers early instead of on New Year's Eve.

Why does a pack of replacement blades for my shaving razor cost more than buying a new handle that comes with replacement blades?

Same reason a set of new ink cartridges cost more than a new printer that comes with new ink cartridges.

While he's on the phone - Brian May sees him and comes to say hello - that he recognizes my roomie from the work they're doing on the Lost Horizons Pluto project together.

In one year, he fulfills a lifelong ambition to get a ship to Pluto, then both parents die, then Brian May recognizes him on the street.
Ups and downs, and some sort of lesson that life can be really interesting if you just get out there somehow.

That's my roommate, also member of my championship trivia team, and bass player in my college punk band, wearing the blue sitting behind May.
Another life lesson, I guess: you can't make new old friends.
