The weather is so great I can pop yesterdays leftover pizza in the toaster oven without heating the kitchen up instead of nuking it and making it gloppy.If gloppy is a real word.

Get some screwed up CD's (aka Coasters), punch a hole in em and tie them to branches and let them dangle in the breeze.

We haven't had Japanese beetles around here since I was a kid.I guess they have been doing a lot of aerial spraying.I used to be able to go out in the yard in the spring when I was a kid and dig up the grubs for fishbait.

 I also haven't seen a single mosquito this year.

 Better living through chemistry. Maybe.

I have to worry more about the Japanese beetles. I only have a small patch and the birds don't seem to care much. I just have to remember to pick them. It would help if we got some rain.
