After exactly 3 months without so much as a sip of beer, I slipped on an old piece of 12 pack cardboard in the corner of the garage .{#Headache}

 I now have a banged up hand and shoulder and a completely unmovable,swollen cantaloupe that used to be a knee.
   If I would have been drunk I would have been too spongy to get hurt and would have just bounced off the concrete like a normal person(assuming normal people maintain a high BAC).{#Drunk}

They'd probably be less tiring to read had you not spilled (spilt) so much juice on them.

Seems to me paying for sex and paying for sex while on a work trip are different things (I'm to cheap for either).  Then again, a woman in Australia successfully claimed work-cover compensation for injuries sustained after hours while on a business trip.  Seems she received cuts and was traumatised when she ripped the lamp above her bed out of the wall while having sex.

Great. So if we can guarantee that the minimum wage will only be used for low-skill workers who want to earn experience, and then will be ushered into a living wage as soon as that does not apply (and I do not mean 10¢ above minimum), then sure, leave it where it is. Because if you're paying someone minimum wage for 40 hours a week and the experience they're earning cannot or will not translate to significantly higher wages with your company or another within, say, 6 months, then we're back to capitalist greed.

However: Irony duly noted.

Socialists Push For $20 Minimum Wage But Won’t Pay Workers That Much

One could argue that it's not fair to pick on small organizations like the Freedom Socialist Party, because they can't afford high-pay web developers. Given the requirements they list, chances are they're looking for a high school or college student who is just starting out in the field. But, these are exact reasons why people argue against artificially high minimum wages. It's not "capitalist greed," but an understanding that it puts a barrier between small organizations with limited funding and low-skill workers who want to earn experience.

I guess I'm supposed to imagine this as a terrible blunder by the NYT, soiling the message of the ad. But I'm guessing they deliberately arranged the paper to have only horrible stories on the facing page. Kind of helping to make the point, I think.
