Thanks to you I am working on it now & hope to upload something dazzling soon. Meanwhile just rest assured you rock.  Thank you from the bottom of my verybadheart.

If you like the frame-like thing I use, after copying the code on Flickr, go to
http://www.druidlabs.com/flickrcode.html and past your code there. You can then play with colors before coming to RP and posting the new code here, like this

Ok. This (particular) example of my ignorance is not a joke. I have literally thousands of photos on a 16MB sim card taken on my primitive phone camera, of mostly —- wait for it —- cats! Well, 95% cats, also a few rocks and some perverse signs. And to round out this cutting edge configuration I have a Nook tablet. Period.

Will anyone take on the challenge of briefly saying how to upload a photo to here?. I promise it wont be of me and definitely not anybody naked. But I crave this knowledge like you would not believe and it totally eludes me.  It has been muy frustrating.  I would be very grateful and you could thereafter be referred to by me as a god or a guru or a conjurer or some such for your trouble.

In the words of Molly Ringwald/Frannie in the movie of Stephen King's "The Stand" when they were hypnotizing Tom Cullen, please don't leave me hanging out there. (Plus and bonus, there's your Halloween connect... ).

I thank you sincerely, to the borderline of ki$$ing a$$, from averyignorant averybadcat.
(M-o-o-n, that spells photographic sharing techniques.)

Flickr allows you 1TB free storage with the free account, plenty of room for all your cats and more.

You didn't mention what kind of phone you have but both iPhone and Android have a Flickr app which can do some basic editing and upload pictures to your Flickr account directly from the phone.

Once you have your pictures in Flickr, on each picture page there is a share button (lower right of picture). In the share dialog,  choose HTML, Medium size (there are 3 mediums, I choose the first one; 500 x 375 as those were the rules when we first started this thread but now I see larger pictures being posted), and HTML at the bottom. Highlight and copy the code there.

Then go to RP, go to the thread you want to post in and click post. click on the HTML button on the tool bar above, paste the code in the popup window, then click the update button. That's pretty much it.

I'm not a cat person, but I would like to see your pics.

Great, now I'm craving a payday bar.

you can't upload photos directly to RP, you need to link to it. Upload your photos to a service like flickr or photobucket, or your own website if you have one. Then you can link to the photo using the image button in the posting window.

I forgot about them but thanks. I believe most ask for my permission, and I always give it on the condition that I'm credited for the photo, which they did. I don't think I'm doing the right things to prevent unauthorized use though, and while these guys are authorized, I have found others that aren't. I have found this photo of mine appear in other places without permission though (I think in some kind of fetish blog, someone pointed it out to me like you did here).

A rare species that blooms for a relatively short period of time and lives only in a small area of California. To see these requires a 8 mile round trip hike in the mountains above Ojai, CA at just the right time of year. There were noticeably fewer this year, I only found 3 plants this time.
