I think most of us have seen one or two spectacular speeches from our current president (which is far more than his predecessor ever uncorked) and they were so good, we think he's a good speaker. But I'll say it: I can't stand listening to him do a run-of-the-mill speech or Q&A.

Clinton is just ... special.  

I think Clinton, for example, was really good at winging it and stringing a sentence together. Everyone has gaffes, that's why I put this Mitt thing in here, it's irrelevant (if funny). But I liked Clinton's casual style more.

Drives me nuts too and he is so deliberate and careful. Mitt is much more entertaining just winging it, having no idea WTF he is talking about! Dude, has the rare skill of seeming to be out of place and awkward in ALL situations and company!

Two words: Special Prosecutor

Considering the circumstances, it is reasonable to consider the Justice Dept. a rogue agency. To restore justice to Justice, the new administration needs to throw a tent over the whole shebang and fumigate it. Each and every employee needs to be vetted, and either indicted or re-hired under a new contract that requires them to condemn "loyal Bushy"-ism, and reaffirm their loyalty to the US and its Constitution.

I just had this argument with C & the roommate two nights ago....the whole thing is set up so that there is not ever a major overhaul of the various branches & departments at one time. True, Obama will get to pick the new Atty Gen, but that person will be in charge of staffing. Even so, they can't just oust people from those jobs because they're playing for the wrong team....otherwise it'd be illegal and people would have to go in front of a congressional committee, many heads would roll, and Obama would be subjected to scruitiny...and....
