Been seeing $1.39 more east of here. Around my home it's $1.44-$1.47

Over on the Kansas Side its generally about $1.51 near the State Line. It is likely around $1.57 the further you go into Kansas.

We're down around $1.75, cash, 85 octane. Some other towns are $1.80 for 87 octane, but the low grade here is 85 or 85.5, mid grade will be 87 and premium 90 or 91. Some pumps have a high grade at 89 too. Some of you live where there are laws about minimum octane rating so your low grade might be 89.

We are around $2 most places here still. The station nearest me is still at $2.29. I suspect they are padding their account while they can in preparation for a long summer.  The good news is that down at the marinas diesel just keeps dropping. The locals are down to $1.75, and one that is a fun day trip is down to $1.60. It hasn't been this low in forever. I can completely fuel my boat without hitting the pump cutoff $ limit.

$6,- here in the Netherlands. 1.5 euro for 1 litre * 3.78 for a gallon * 1.09 for the dollar price.
The real cost is around $1.50. $4.50 is added tax.

It has been around 2 euro for 1 litre so we are celebrating $6 a gallon. For a period it was cheaper to buy (cheap) wine. Sadly there is not enough alcohol to drive cars with and the taxes on alcoholic beverages are raised again.

I wonder if there's a correlation there. Beef's been really high, but lower fuel costs can't have had any effect on the cost of beef in the store now.

Maybe.  I know that the size of the US herd was deliberately shrunk on purpose about two or so years ago, but forget the exact reason why.  I believe that the herd is increasing again due to lower costs, that and there are cyclicals to this.

Beef moves by truck; live to market, processed to the store.  Prime, Inc is the primary carrier of swinging meat.  #2 diesel is currently trading at about 95 cents a gallon and the NY harbour price for regular unleaded gas is around $1.02 per gallon.   At 5 mpg for a semi, the savings are beginning to add up and with more to go around, supply and demand may be having an effect.

I've seen the space for beef cut in half at the grocery store over the past two years.  It doubled in price in the same time.
