mmmmm.....according to wiki a Van de Graaf generator will get up to a higher voltage. Meaning more staticness on the hair. But no danger to the kiddies as long as it discharges slowly...

I was a kid, and I used to babysit. I even have some children I kind of like. But that's where it ends. I like the ones I can give back.
