I could imagine.  She played in a small theater nearby here last week; unfortunately I was unable to attend.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
But my favorite concert was Jonathan Richman solo in a little club in New Orleans a few decades ago. Now, he's playing in a little club near here but I can't go (son graduating college, dangit).

If you're near Petaluma, the Mystic Theater, you might get to see something like this...

His website says he's playing down at Felton but the Don Quixote website doesn't have it. But he's playing Bottom of the Hill 2 times, so ...

That Felton place (I've never been there) has James McMurtry, John Doe, Pokey LaFarge, Big Sandy et al coming in the next few months... I'd think about drifting down there...

Mike Doughty!

I might be able to make that June 5th one. Gotta attend an Indian wedding on the 6th that should be a Really Big Show...

Caught Rosanne Cash last night.  FABULOUS show.  If you have yet to see her and are wondering if it's worthwhile, wonder no more.

With her latest album, she's really hit her stride. 100% recommendation!

I'm hoping to cross a bucket list concert off this August! I'm making plans to see Slightly Stoopid with Stick Figure and Dirty Heads at Marymoor. Triple happy!!! Every year I go on a solo camp trip but this show has me going state side.  Usually, I holiday/camp within my province of beautiful British Columbia but I absolutely love Washington state so I'm pretty stoked about this year's adventure! I'm open to any suggestions/info on camping, roadside attractions, etc. Peace, Wu
