Just saw the Intouchables. A French movie based on a true story-subtitled. Fantastic and touching. I think it's only in LA and NY right now, but it's supposedly broken records in Europe that Hollywood has never broken. If you can find it see it. Heard there's a Hollywood version in the works but see the original if you can. |

Not a movie, but after a long wait, we finally got the series Downton Abbey. It was great. We also got Tinker, Tailer, Soldier, Spy. My husband read the book, and he had to explain what was going on. Still, I only made it through about 1/4 of the movie. He said the book wasn't that good either. |

His widow is actually getting several of the animals back again.

Finally saw this last week, too. Meryl Streep, as usual, is a tour de force.
EDIT: I thought the direction was a bit spotty, however. Not having intently followed events in Great Britain during her tenure, at times it was difficult to tell reality from her advancing (post-PM) dementia.
