'cause people choose sides and pay lip service to peace? I mean, standards are important for sure. How about a standard of peace, lip service notwithstanding...

I used to get screamed at by a neighbor (5 houses down!) in Illinois. To the tune of "Don't let your dog shit on my driveway" and "You'd damned well better pick up after your dog!" while I was clearly carrying bags of dog poop.

One time I stopped and said "That's no way to speak to a neighbor!" and she said, "Where you you live?" and I said "That's not important. I know where YOU live."

That was pretty much the end of that. And thereafter as I passed I discreetly let the New Joy Sea salute fly.

Thank you for this. I have been trying to formulate some way to address her. I appreciate your thoughts, and not just the admonition to "not care."

It must remind him of his younger days...They did make a special Fiesta in '79...(Per Google) For the 1979 auto show season, Ford in conjunction with its Ghia Operations in Turin, Italy, produced the Ford Fiesta Tuareg off-road car. It was touted in press materials as "a concept vehicle designed and equipped for practical, off-road recreational use." Not sure if it was mass produced or if this might be the type he has.

Okay car/truck savvy friends, can someone help me remember what make this logo is? I've seen it recently on two industrial trucks and I just can't place it. Front grille, silver oval with crossbar. Open. No color. Knowing auto makes is a game that goes back to my brother. The center bar curves out at each end, to smoothly intersect with the oval. And the oval is symmetrical, unlike my drawing. Not Nissan, or Mazda, or Volvo (that I can tell, though that was my initial thought). It's bugging me!
