Putting it on the door is the other option. There's no emergency. You haven't granted them access. But you should read it from the top to be sure I'm right. 

 

Edit: Were it me I might put it on the door and work from home.

I'd suggest you follow the link and read everything above the excerpted paragraph. 

It looks like you can hand over a written denial directly to the landlord or agent in advance. (should you choose) You can walk over right now and hand the document to the manager and be done. This is provided you qualify based on what appears above the excerpt. 

I think you do qualify but I read through it quickly.
