Hey I'm seeing a lot of neon clothing again, so maybe it's time for a comeback?

Last week was the 31st anniversary of the release of Duran Duran's Rio... I'm thinking about picking up a nice red suit...

Please refrain from using racist, violent, or sexual imagery in avatars & forum pictures. The company I work for just hired a new part time employee. This doesn't surprise me because they are totally the kind of company that would pay a man more than a woman. According to law, this is against the law.

How do I approach the owner and successfully get him to increase  my salary, without revealing what I know? Always something with this place {#Rolleyes}

You can ask for a raise. Point out how long you've been there, what you've accomplished, how dedicated you are. And then hope for the best.

Best Music to Listen To While Reading

This brings up another point.  These aren't actually songs that I listen to when I'm reading.  I mean, they might be.  But mostly it is filler in between book reviews.  So I use songs I find on soundcloud because it only takes a button to post 'em and I am lazy.  I do try to pick music that would make a good soundtrack for a book, sometimes with a particular book in mind, but this more a matter of trying to convince any readers (like I said, a very small handful of people) that the post is on purpose and not just a lazy person's filler post.  In my defense, I do try to post music I like. {#Lol}

I always listened to classical music while studying Shakespeare. And others, of course, but it did help me get "A"s in my English courses.

I might save "Music for the Muse" to use for music to write to.  Which would be another great category of music.  And tangentially relevant.

The category is for a book blog so I need to emphasize the relevancy of the posts to the general topic.  Except that it is my personal blog with a grand total of 20 readers so it isn't super important.  I like the term soundtrack, as in "soundtrack to adventure" or "soundtrack to words" but nothing is working for me.
