Patriot Guard Riders

Posted by LennytheB - May 26, 2012 - 6:25pm
Due to various issues including health and job, I have not been able to join my compatriots on any PGR rides for about six months.  Now that those issues are resolving, I decided to rededicate myself to the cause and in celebration of that, I bought a new motorcycle.  My cousin had been searching for a decent bike so that he could start riding again, and it just so happened he was looking in the price range that my old bike was worth.  So, I sold it to him and used the money for a down payment on the new one...a 2012 Victory Cross Roads.  Jet black in color and 106ci of muscle built into a cruiser style bike.  I found a dealer who was anxious to set a one month record in the East, and so got a very, very good deal on an incredible bike.  I have never ridden a bike as stable as this one, nor one with more responsive power at all ranges.  The six speed tranny includes a true overdrive which gives me the mileage I'm used to in a much more powerful machine.  My first ride will be on Monday, Memorial Day...a fitting day for a return to the PGR.

If someone could tell/show me how to upload an image to RP, I'd gladly post a pic.

Dibs on a ride when I next see you!  I sure will miss Tennessee this year.  I am counting on being there next year - AND Eva is going to try to make it too.  I've been wanting her to come with me for a long time. She is on Mykonos Island this weekend relaxing.  She is selling foreign money now and doesn't care for it, but it's a job.  Maybe I can unload some of this weight before you take me for a ride!!!!

I am also so proud of you for being involved with Patriot Riders!  I luvs you.
