SUCH a perfect song except it always annoyed me that Byrne clips the last word off of each line in the chorus, such as "ground". Why didn't he just record vocal tracks for the lines separately so he didn't have to cut the word short to get a breath before the next line? It is a studio album after all, and an elaborately recorded one. I always wondered about that decision.
