T.O.K. - Galang Gal (Diwali Riddim) (Apr 22, 2004 - 10:26) | CorporalDan wrote:
Actually, I think the clap track is the "Diwali Riddim" part. A quick search on Google yields countless songs that also use the same beat, including Wayne Wonder's recent "No Holding Back." My point is that if Sean Paul is ripping off anyone, it's whoever started the Diwali Riddim beat, not this particular song that happens to use it.
Huh. Who woulda thunk? I guess I 've learned something today! :D

Nik Kershaw - Wouldn't It Be Good (Apr 22, 2004 - 09:52) | Nik was so cute! Had this album- in the glorious 80's.
I think I had his picture on the wall, too (next to Duran Duran)

Procol Harum - A Salty Dog (Apr 22, 2004 - 09:33) | Reading through the comments here, I guess I'm in the minority as I really don't like this. Maybe it grows on ya after a while?

Better Than Ezra - One More Murder (Apr 22, 2004 - 07:36) | I hadn't heard anything from these guys for a long time. They aren't getting radio play lately 'round here that I've noticed. I like them. Went to one of those MGD Blind Date conerts years ago- you know the kind where you don't know which band is playing until the lights go on or whatever- well, it was this band, and when they started playing, everyone in the audience was looking around at each other because it seemed no one could tell who they were- and the band had to say something like: 'If you don't know who we are, we're ..... ". Felt kind of bad for them :-(

Tom Waits - Step Right Up (Apr 21, 2004 - 09:19) | I loved it! Might buy this one- just for that song. Haven't listened to any others yet. :-)
