Mike Scott - Bring 'em all in
(Nov 05, 2012 - 08:51)
whatever happened to the good ole days when lyrics were interesting?

Joseph Arthur - Mother of Exiles
(May 07, 2012 - 11:05)
I am somehow reminded of Bowie.

Muse - Map of the Problematique

This Muse song sounds like U2 before they started to suck. And that's a good thing.

Yeah!  I thought U2, too!

My first thought was that it was something new from New Order.

My first thought was U2.  Was that out of line?

Bob Marley - Jamming
(Sep 08, 2011 - 09:23)
One of the most overplayed songs in the history of the universe.  Once it sounded okay, now it's like Chinese water torture.

Greg Laswell - Take Everything
(Aug 16, 2011 - 10:18)
There's a song by The Avengers "Go On, Take Everything," a punk rock classic.

Hindugrass - Appalachistan
(Feb 07, 2011 - 13:14)
Hilarious!  Love the name.

Susan Enan - Skin, Bone, and Silicone

maybe it's just because this is following "donna the beefalo," but this sounds really really nice right now.

same track following Donna the Buffalo again.  i think Bill's got us on a repeated list..

I agree.  too many similarities.

Me, three.  I didn't even know it was The Dead until I came to the computer to give it a "1" rating.  I always find them so boring.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Lively Up Yourself (Live)
(Feb 22, 2010 - 11:12)
SO overplayed!!  (Or is it just my age?)  I love RP for the new music it exposes me to and the way it is well-blended with older cuts.

Steely Dan - Aja
(Feb 13, 2010 - 09:02)
Self-indulgent genius.  Like a chapter of Ulysses by James Joyce, but for the ears.  You would have to be a member of the drumming elite to appreciate that.

Bob Marley - Forever Loving Jah
(Jan 05, 2010 - 16:54)
Reggae never advances.  What's up with that?  I used to like dub.

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire
(Oct 31, 2009 - 11:30)
If you like this kind of contemplative music, give a listen to www.hos.com.  Show #891 is an "autumn music" show that features a lot of this album as well as music by others.  I like Hearts of Space when I'm trying to work.  I like Radio Paradise when I need more energy.

Anna Ternheim - No Subtle Men
(Jun 19, 2009 - 11:27)
Gorgeous.  Going through RP to Amazon to buy it.
