Well then I assume that you want an artist to stay in the original genre and music style of his/her success and time zone? i.e....keep a mullet, still listen to Metallica, Boston, and the "Heat of the Moment" or Steelers Wheel??.....and endlessly listen to Classic Rock stations????
Buddy...your on the wrong channel! Musicians do evolve...for better or for worse. One cannot sing their glory days forever. I'd say R Plant has done quite well in furthering his career for his love of music...not for what you might want to hear.

Its not that I don't think this artist is a talented singer.....and I have said before Bill does a great job at really playing a wide variety of great artists. My comment expressed that too much of this genre of music is played on RP. I think what I said was a fair comment of my opinion, NOT of the artist.
There is so much more good music out there, and Bill is a master at finding it.
