Love it

Never thought I would hear Metallica on RP.  Absolutely fantastic.  Thanks Bill.

I agree.
I think they are very under-rated.  It's a powerful band, powerful songs, and it's fantastic if they can bring out some of the depth that can be found as well.  Anyway, good on them for still pushing it, and I hope they keep going with it.  People kick'n Hetfield around, and I don't know what that's about, I didn't see anything wrong with his voice.  The guitar was the best part there though, I thought.

Tis. Tis the way to play the piano, keep you hanging on the lyrics.

Josh Ritter - Kathleen
(Jan 07, 2010 - 19:44)
Lovely lyrics, a woman's man.  love it.

Muse - Exogenesis Part III (Redemption)
(Oct 07, 2009 - 15:37)
that was so beautiful it hurt me.  i couldn't even hear the lyrics, i was so busy swooning.  i loved it.

I'm hearing Aerosmith

And Bob Seger, Springsteen, and a little bit of George Harrison's slide guitar tone thrown in for good measure. Gives you an idea of what they were listening to while they were growing up.

Maybe you are supposed to.  It's about those that went before you... in particular perhaps, not always the famous ones, but he's crossing his fingers on a star....

LIke it a lot.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Weight of the World
(Jan 15, 2007 - 00:42)
I think that was the first time i heard that song and the band name is long enough, i I'd have heard it before I would have remembered. Usually lyrics don't mean anything but I liked those. they were different and sounded heart-felt

Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros - All In A Day
(Nov 30, 2006 - 15:49)
Does anyone hear the Beatles
Cat Power - The Greatest
(Nov 30, 2006 - 15:11)
not sad just draggy
Radiohead - The Tourist
(Nov 30, 2006 - 14:55)
depressing the music isn't bad so much as I think the singer is on ludes with a hangover.
Nitin Sawhney - Mausam
(Sep 10, 2006 - 14:11)
Sooo pretty.

Was this in a movie I watched once in the middle of the night?

Disco still sucks.

It has sucked since the 70's, and ever will suck.

i liked it for a sec the beats that were old, same, different but it's tedious now, a moment later.
R.E.M. - Bang and Blame
(Aug 20, 2006 - 19:31)
Bang - shoot me in the head this is the most boring repetitive bitch, there is no song.
Oasis - Champagne Supernova
(Jul 20, 2006 - 18:18)
If anyone has the slightest idea what the lyrics are about I mean where were you when I was getting high? - I was getting high what's the question, and what is a supernova champagne in the sky - oh, death? not good. see you and Hitler there.
Solomon Burke - None Of Us Are Free
(Jul 18, 2006 - 16:34)
this is exactly like another song except the lyrics, i can't remember the name of it. it's exactly the same, what is it?
Joan Osborne - Man in The Long Black Coat
(Jul 16, 2006 - 07:20)
a wordy poem (not a great poem) with a little music in the background, it makes me think why doesn't she just say it since she doesn't let the music in.
