Stereolab - Margerine Melodie
(Sep 10, 2005 - 16:30)
Was anyone else insanely irritated by the crappy high-pitched synth-organ always playing in the background?
Neil Young - Throw Your Hatred Down
(Sep 09, 2005 - 13:32)
I suppose it means something that a Neil Young song sounds clichéd, considering he probably invented quite a few modern music clichés, but this is just boring to me.
Leonard Cohen - Who By Fire (live)

This guy comes off more spiritually confused than Dylan. Good/Bad?
(the degree of confusion)

I can't imagine a situation where an artist being spiritually confused is anything but good for their listeners. :)
Blue Man Group - I Feel Love (w/ Venus Hum)
(Aug 29, 2005 - 04:15)
I always feel kind of guilty that I'm such a sucker for simple driving bass lines and tons of energy, but what can I do? I feel love. \:D/
Jude Cole - Speed of Life
(Aug 27, 2005 - 20:13)

You're not supposed to duck when a joke comes flying at you.

or was it a subtle dig at STP?!
Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows
(Aug 23, 2005 - 00:38)
Queens of the Stone Age is such a cool band.
Urban Species - Blanket (featuring Imogen Heap)
(Aug 22, 2005 - 21:40)

only let's not lie and call it music. It is some sort of pandering instead.

If you think there's a rule that says music can't be about sex you've got to be ignorant of the past 50 years of rock.

edit: Ok, that sounds a little more antagonistic than I actually feel, but still, I don't see how you could possibly arrive at that viewpoint while still listening to the kind of music that this radio station plays :P.
Eric Clapton - Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
(Aug 18, 2005 - 03:07)
As much as I love Clapton's guitar, this just doesn't have it.
Al Green - Love and Happiness
(Aug 16, 2005 - 14:40)
Not my favorite Al Green track...

so I only gave it a 9.
Elvis Costello - 45
(Aug 09, 2005 - 01:54)

Is it me, or has there been an Elvis Constello explosion on this station? And by explosion, I mean the disturbing "whew! Don't go in there!" kind. Enough already.

:(
Stick with him, he'll grow on you I guarantee it.
A Perfect Circle - The Noose

the new music scene.

I'm sort of hoping this title is faintly ironic.
