Coldplay + Buena Vista Social Club - Clocks (Jul 29, 2007 - 12:44) | I heard this from the other room and turned it up right away. So much fun. It amazing how the rhythm and feel was altered, yet it still maintains the 'coldplay' feel.
Makes a great bachata!

James Horner - Sing, Sing, Sing (Aug 02, 2003 - 16:15) | The original bandleader and composer for this piece was Louis Prima. I wonder if this version is by a son or grandson.

Youngbloods - Darkness, Darkness (Aug 02, 2003 - 15:24) | When was this recorded? Its good. I like the song and the band, but was it really recorded in the 60s? Who wrote this song?

Bruce Cockburn - Postcards From Cambodia (Jul 05, 2003 - 06:31) | I'm from Ottawa. The three well known musicians from Ottawa Canada are Paula Anka, Alannis Morrisette, and Bruce Cockburn.
Though I admit Bruce is a poet of a higher class, i also have to say that I find his music generally tedious. Sorry.

Bruce Cockburn - When You Give It Away (Jun 21, 2003 - 12:12) | I find Bruce's music tedious.
Some of his pieces starts intertestingly enough, but it all becomes quickly monotonous. Most of his pieces are about 3x as long as they should be.
Give me a Rocket Launcher!

Hmm - his biography says he was born in NY state - so I may be mistaken. Maybe his mother was Canadian.

Supertramp - Logical Song (Jan 31, 2003 - 22:17) | their best song. Intelligent lyrics, and the music is catchy and technically astute.

Genesis - Supper's Ready (Nov 06, 2002 - 21:04) | This has to be the most powerful piece of modern music ever written. Every time i hear this piece i still shudder with its emotion and cruel passion. A wonderpiece! I remember seeing Peter doing this live in a small venue in Montreal for the foxtrot tour.
