Badly Drawn Boy - You Were Right
(Jul 19, 2006 - 16:48)
I really like the music he did for the movie About a Boy. I watched the movie, fell in love with it, and go so obsessed with the music that I scrambled around looking for this guy. I like certain pieces but some of his stuff I wasn't necessarily enthralled with. But I really have to say I enjoy this guy as an artist.
Massive Attack - Teardrop

Damnations TX - Unholy Train

Personally speaking, the bass line is okay...but it just kind of creates a very gray picture of nothing in my mind, which makes me bored.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Shuffle Your Feet

Very nice!

Now I can only wish that RP would play my Inti-Illimani upload from last year.

Inti-Illimani have similar works and they've been around for ages!

Ack! Why haven't we all realized this sooner? They should play Inti Illimani. As soon as I heard anything they played, I was instantly enraptured with their works. Like this song, which I give an A+ for beautiful, way to go RP for rocking my socks off!
Duane Eddy - Rebel Rouser

psh, I think this song rocks my socks.
The Magic Numbers - Forever Lost
(May 28, 2006 - 19:19)
I'm really getting sick of this song. It was okay the first couple times, but I always look forward to the songs after this one.
Supergrass - Low C
(May 28, 2006 - 19:13)

electronica haters are as quick to jump in here to vocalize their hatred as I am to throw up all over Steely Dan music.

It's okay. Like what you want. It's the passion we all share.

Awww you don't like steely dan music? You gotta at least like the album Aja.
Andrew Bird - A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head
(May 10, 2006 - 22:15)
wow I am pleasantly surprised by this song. I at first thought it was ho hum, but the more I listened, the more I was held under it's spell.
Marvin Gaye - I Heard It Through the Grapevine
(May 09, 2006 - 20:48)
woot! this song makes me feel like that.
Tori Amos - The Beekeeper

Psh, who doesn't like Tori Amos. I didn't even need to think or breathe before I knew who this was. Great song!
Neko Case - Dirty Knife
(May 03, 2006 - 21:49)
I'm not crazy about the beginning of the song but the chorus is tantalizing. If the song were more like the chorus it would loose it's certainty, but I appreciate the amazing vocals. It's so interesting.
Sam Phillips - All Night

I personally feel entertained. It makes me think dark nights and cafes.
Claude Ginsburg and Julie King - Waiting For Snow
(Apr 30, 2006 - 18:22)
If music could be tasted, I would say, this song tastes like cotton candy.
