Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees (Dec 10, 2008 - 13:53) | I really, really dislike this band's music. It's puzzling. I don't think it's a generational thing (I'm 43). I like plenty of other post-80s music and new bands. To me, Radiohead's music is marginally better than Zamfir's and inferior to Slim Whitman's.

Jim Carroll Band - People Who Died (Sep 18, 2008 - 23:14) | Mindlessly repetitious and very dated. For a minute I thought I was hearing something from the Rocky Horror soundtrack. A solid 3.
Radiohead - Nude (Aug 16, 2008 - 22:16) | Yuck. I just changed the song rating from a 2 to a 1.
Kirsty MacColl - Libertango (Jun 15, 2008 - 01:52) | I find this adaptation of Piazzolla's music every bit as good as Grace Jones' version-more classic, less spooky.
Radiohead - All I Need (Mar 18, 2008 - 21:18) | A solid 1. And yes, I was born prior to the 1970s. Does this mean that my musical tastes were formed before extremely crappy music became normalized? Probably.
The Police - The Bed's Too Big Without You (Mar 06, 2008 - 10:26) | I saw the Police in '82 and I can vouch for the fact that their live show wasn't that good. Even back then, Sting came off like an arrogant twerp. Black Uhuru opened for them and they were better.
Peter Tosh - Johnny B. Goode (Mar 06, 2008 - 10:13) | I'm a big fan of Tosh and I'm not feeling this at all. Not every experiment is successful.
Sarah McLachlan - Possession (Feb 05, 2008 - 12:07) | I'm really surprised at the high average rating for this song; I gave it a very generous 4. Am I missing something?
K.D. Lang - Hallelujah (Nov 27, 2007 - 10:34) | AphidA wrote: This sucks because it reminds me of all the other crappy versions of this song, especially Rufus Wainwright's.
Totally. This song has been irredeemably played out and rendered completely lame by all of the wack versions out there.
Lily Allen - LDN (Aug 03, 2007 - 13:07) | I saw this chick on SNL; she can barely sing. Does this mean RP is going to put Ashlee Simpson in the rotation?
Minnie Driver - Wire (Feb 28, 2007 - 13:10) | I actually wouldn't mind seeing her sing "Stand By Your Man" in her current incarnation, not as Irina. I saw her in a coffee shop in Soho a while back; she can drive me wherever she wants.
Jesse Colin Young - Grey Day (Feb 16, 2007 - 08:00) | It was the Youngbloods, which was actually a Sixties band: "Come on people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together, try to love one another right now." Sound familiar?
