Sarah McLachlan - Drawn to the Rhythm (Live)
(Apr 22, 2009 - 12:27)
I've never heard of an artist who so throroughly disrespected their back catalog in the live setting.  Even U2 is much better.  I figure my chances of ever hearing this gem live are pretty much nil.

U2 - Moment Of Surrender
(Mar 25, 2009 - 14:02)
First track from this album I finally deleted from my iTunes today.  You can almost see the people getting up for beer.

Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
(May 12, 2008 - 16:08)
I like this song too, but does it need to be played every day? There seem to be a good half-dozen songs I can count on hearing during any 8-hour workday's worth of RP.
Simple Minds - See The Lights
(Sep 17, 2007 - 11:26)
Still going strong! Would be awesome to see them in the States again. (click here)
U2 - Bad
(Sep 10, 2007 - 15:44)
I like the song so much better without the sequencer pattern at the beginning. Wish they would do it that way live.

U2 - Pride (In The Name Of Love) (live)
(Jul 30, 2007 - 17:17)
When they play this song now, is it just slowed down (in terms of BPM) or have they also taken the pitch down? Anyone know? The difference is quite remarkable.
Peter Gabriel - I Grieve
(Jul 30, 2007 - 16:00)
Sure this isn't the original version (from the _City of Angels_ soundtrack??) I just listened to UP a couple weeks ago, and that version sounded subtly, yet noticeably different.
Edie Brickell - What I Am
(Jul 17, 2007 - 13:33)
Anyone else think this is exactly what Elaine from "Seinfeld" would sound like if she sang? :-)

I like both, BTW. . .Elaine and the song!
Peter Gabriel - Red Rain
(Jun 19, 2007 - 14:31)
Do you have a 2003 or 2004 version from the Encore Series? That would round out "Red Rain Day" well :-)
Peter Gabriel - Of These, Hope
(May 24, 2007 - 15:25)
So definitive that even the soundtrack of The Passion of the Christis a knockoff.

Of course, the title of that film is a knockoff also, as the original title of The Last Temptation was Passion.
Jake Shimabukuro - Let's Dance
(May 23, 2007 - 14:04)
Sex and the City?
The Wailin' Jennys - Starlight
(May 21, 2007 - 13:52)
Surely in heavy rotation on Heaven's radio station. I can't get enough of these ladies.

Hope to see the revamped Jennys come to Milwaukee, Chicago or Madison soon!
Peter Gabriel - I Have The Touch
(May 20, 2007 - 13:03)
I don't care for the production of Security due to the lack of cymbals, a trick also used on Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight." Wish PG would redo/remix all of the album's tracks in the same way as this one! Plus, I find the recurring guitar riff to be one of David Rhodes' most brilliant. . .
