The Rolling Stones are returning to recording a new album, still in preparation. The former bassist Bill Wyman is returning to Band and agreed to record again with the band. This new disc also intends to honor the former keyboardist, Ian Andrew Robert Stewart, already disappeared, which began in the early days of the band. The Rolling Stones have not recorded since 6 years ago, so this new album is creating huge "expectations".
In January 2011, the Stones are reported to have been reunited with original bassist Bill Wyman to play together on an upcoming album by British pianist Ben Waters honoring the late Ian Stewart. The song they do is a cover of Bob Dylan's "Watching the River Flow". Waters will release the all-star Boogie for Stu in March, with proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. 

Marginally ho-hum. They've yet to impress me. At all. I don't bye the hype.

I hated this song, until I heard this version.

Suffers in the same manner as his "Halleluja" - he really doesn't have a voice.

I'd argue he's not singing like a woman, he's singing like a guy in an octave you don't associate with men generally singing in.

I suspect your discomfort comes from the fact you were turned on by what you imagined was a hot chick singing a great song and then were disappointed to discover it was a guy.  Kind of like when you're behind the hot chick in line with the great hair and tight ass and then they turn around and you find to your horror it's a guy with a beard.   (Damn Hippies)

Just listen to the song and forget about who's singing it.   If you filter your art based upon preconceived notions you'll be missing out on a lot of great stuff.  Admit it, if this had been sung by a woman you would have given it an 8.

Very disappointing overall after 'Funeral'

Don't get Coldplay. They're like a more boring version of Radiohead.

Buy entire albums for sure. CD quality is better and the songs flow one into the next. Liquid Skin doesn't have a dud in the bunch but In Our Gun and others are quality, cohesive albums too. I compiled a Gomez sampler and the songs are all great but it's just not an album.

If this was the first time I had ever heard this it would be fine, but having heard it played on the Eat a Peach album, it just doen't cut it.
