Decent but overplayed. That's just laziness. There's so much music in the world.

yes.  it was a favorite.  I would like to have more variety.  it seems like a lot of songs are played a lot. for instance, I looked up buddy guy,  2 songs.     no jackie greene,  not even don't let the devil take your mind, or ball and chain.  maybe I should try this uploading thing.  hate to be a pest tho.

Jamie Stillway - Poison in the Drapes
(Nov 10, 2010 - 15:24)
according to her website, this album was released in 2005.

The Clash - The Guns of Brixton
(Aug 06, 2010 - 11:35)
this is awful

Stray Cats - Sleepwalk
(Jul 04, 2010 - 11:30)
there is no one like santo and johnny.  it may be nice, but it's not them.

I alway's think of jackie greene at the beginning  (a good thing),  and then that dam banging starts up!!!

Mumford & Sons - The Cave
(Jun 07, 2010 - 21:03)

Cracker - Sunrise In The Land Of Milk And Honey

boy, this sure gets played enough!  I'm starting to hear it in my sleep!!!  variety is the spice of life!!!!

Spoon - Written In Reverse

sounds like banging on the guitar to me.

Mavericks - Dance the Night Away
(May 14, 2010 - 21:47)

:D

out of your list from WAY back in the nineties, I've heard of the smash pumpkins. HAH!  guess I was too busy working and listening to WMNU radio.  some guy on there played the nitetime, Issa Katheamaki, or something like that.  he played the coolest stuff.  no idea what.

U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
(Apr 05, 2010 - 17:55)
everything they do sounds the same.  boring.

Talking Heads - Psycho Killer

(Special new edition?. what was wrong with the old one?)

The special edition is remastered and contains more tracks than the original release.
Originally released on vinyl, the CD had room for more tunes.

One of the best shows I've ever seen...what a concept. The stage started out completely empty, and everybody was wondering how late the start-time was going to be. Then Byrne sanders  out with an acoustic guitar and a boom box. The boom box provides the rhythm track (although clearly the drums are from backstage!) The next tune is a pure duet, Heaven. And the show just takes off from there. The DVD contains, from what I can tell, most of the original show, certainly one of the best concert videos, IMO.

saunters

Talking Heads - Psycho Killer
(Apr 05, 2010 - 13:40)
I'm not very familiar with talking heads, apparently they have some good stuff.  however, any "song" that is mostly yelling is going to get a sucko barfo rating from me.  there is tons of good new music, and I love hearing new stuff. I can get bored easily,  but I don't like to be aggrevated. I can tolerate some weird stuff if not too often.   there is tons of really good old stuff too,  good is just good, no matter the ages of the music and listener.

Elvis Costello - Radio, Radio

why does everything from this man irritate me? it's not the voice, it's just the whole thing, the entire catalog. i don't know why.

I can tell you why, no noticible talent.  and he is played way too often.  even worse was CAKE.  so much good stuff is played tho.

Elvis Costello - (I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea
(Mar 30, 2010 - 06:52)
I was there in 1978 and it does not help this song or anything by elvis c, at all.  there is so much good stuff on here, and this elvis just ....yuk!!!

Michael Franti and Spearhead - Yell Fire!
(Jan 22, 2010 - 12:10)
I hope this is almost over, I'm banging my head.  awful. 1 is ranking it too high.

My Morning Jacket - The Way that He Sings
(Jan 13, 2010 - 15:59)
something about this song always gets my attention, I   LIKE it.

U2 - Bad
(Jan 08, 2010 - 23:16)
it doesn't matter which U2 song is played, all sound the same anyway.  when I can't take it anymore I switch it off.

Oi Va Voi - Worry Lines
(Jan 08, 2010 - 12:46)
some very pleasant variety.  keeps it from being boring.  or banging my head.

Mavericks - Dance the Night Away
(Jan 08, 2010 - 12:41)
I could listen the Mavericks more often, just happy feel good stuff.

Bonnie Raitt - It's All Over Now, Baby Blue

god yes.....  enough bono that is, not that you're going to hell!  I get so sick of him.    (pic of smiley barfing.)

Quicksilver Messenger Service - Edward, The Mad Shirt Grinder
(Jan 03, 2010 - 13:12)

yes this is long, but so enjoyable.  always was one of my favorites.  music associated with memories is like that. sometimes I think there should be 2 RP stations, one for people born and having a good time by the 70's and the one for people not thought of yet.

Cake - I Will Survive
(Dec 30, 2009 - 16:07)
I have heard bad versions of songs, but this is one of the most god-awful things I have ever heard.  barfo-sucko for sure! I'm going on rhapsody and hearing the real one!

Eric Clapton - Reconsider Baby
(Dec 30, 2009 - 15:09)
I could listen to a lot more clapton. especially instead of elvis costello and U2.  how about jj cale.

Elvis Costello - Watching The Detectives
(Dec 29, 2009 - 16:49)
awful as usual

U2 - Pride (In The Name Of Love) (live)
(Dec 29, 2009 - 16:28)
so sick of this.

U2 - Two Hearts Beat As One
(Dec 27, 2009 - 17:10)
everything U2 does sounds the same and it's all bad.  and it gets played a lot.  that and elvis costello!!! argh!
I wish they would play some jackie greene or lots of other stuff that doesn't make me want to bang my head on the wall.
