Only slightly less nauseating than the Grateful Dead.

I love this FM era.  I cannot believe this song or album is not on Itunes.

Bob Welch (with no small help from the specky drumming and other talents in this band!) sure had a very cool way of making the rhythms shift, like breathing, within almost every song during his period; often, deceptively sounding simple on the surface, but mind-blowingly deep, and it's all SO GOOD! Thanks, RP, you keep it alive!

OMG yes.

Actually, I think this was the first official album with Christine McVie. The albums they put out between the blues years and the - uhh - 'famous' years are very very good and unappreciated. Please explore...

This is Interim FM, between founder Peter Green and the Buckingham/Nicks era.  Probably Danny Kirwan.

Danny Kirwan is singing the song...  later, he tripped out on acid and quit the band right before they were supposed to perform a live show...

this fine song is from a great Fleetwood Mac album...

sometimes you weave together a slew of sublime, spectacular sounds so satisfying to a thirsty soul; from Booker T on to Kottke playing Fleetwood Mac to themselves, I have been entranced

My bad, I have the album and din't recognize it.  Just heard it playing and said to the wife this sure sounds like FM, especially Welch's guitar.  Then I came over and looked.

Wrong! "Sands Of Time" it is an extraordinary piece of music, which endures in time, and I still hear many times, who deserved to be at the forefront of current RP Playlist.
As for me, I think you missed a good opportunity to be quiet!

Great song from a great album.  This band had so many different members but always put out great music.  Kiln House is another gem that is often overlooked.  And, of course, the Peter Green days were classic.
