Strangely the exact same riff as either a Lenny White or a Stan Clarke track I had in my youth. Not terribly sure but I think the album was Lenny White's Astral Pirates.

Edit: I now see below, thewiseking had it as Billy Cobham... probably right! As much as I like Massive Attack, that has to have been fairly plagiarised!
