I love Tom Petty..  and it has very little to do with sharing a birthday and a love for the greener things in life ;)  I haven't heard a song by him yet that I can't appreciate.  This is definitely one of my nostalgic favorites!

An example of Petty's ability to build a song out of spare parts that runs better than most stuff from more polished writers and players. I sometimes wonder if he gets the credit he deserves (or if possibly I just sold him short with my praise for this song?).
