How can this possibly be rated only 6.6? It's WSMFP!

C'mon - you listen to RP because it's a carefully curated DJ experience, not a listener request station. There are plenty of those out there, including Hispanocentric choices. I hear Euro, Caribe, African, Latin and some genres that define definition here. I even have to put up with reggae, but I still stick around. Thinking that you're being discriminated against is just wrong. It's not a democracy.

If I find myself not liking the station, I go to one of the soma stations, or creamy radio, or radio NRI or radio darvish, or WWOZ or radioio or..

Hmm, you speak as the "owner of the radio" .... by chance, you are not DJ Bill himself?

Everybody in my church loves this cover soooo much!!!!

On January 27th, Widespread Panic will play in la República Dominicana...

Widespread Panic believes that art education, and in particular music education, is integral to the overall education and advancement of children. Art allows for personal expression, appreciation of ideas, celebration of cultural awareness, sharing emotions, and gives purpose to life. Widespread Panic agrees with research findings that art education supports more traditional academic subjects as well as being a worthy pursuit in its own right.

Yeah, that's a great lesson for our kids.  Paint something, then 100 years after you are dead some fool spends a fortune on your work.

Education is much more than training servants for the corporate lords. Knowing how to induce aesthetic experiences is more valuable than money!

Hannah's Buddies 2012

Hello Travelers,
Our thanks go out to all of the participants and volunteers joining forces in Orlando for this year's upcoming 13th annual Hannah's Buddies Charity Ball, silent auction, and golf "tournament." Thanks also to those donating items for the auction. Some of these can be previewed here, along with written descriptions of other kind donations for this event.

Two things we need to mention: Registration for the golf is full, but a reduced donation of $125 dollars dollars will allow those shut out of the golf to participate in the silent auction (concert ticket included). Also, if you have a last minute item you have been meaning to donate for the auction, we need to receive it by Tues., March 27 at this address: Hannah's Buddies c/o The Elliotts / 719 S. Orleans Ave. / Tampa, FL 33606. Please include a suggested value/starting bid so we can honor your donation appropriately.

Thank you all! See you on the 30th and 31st.
