Ridin' down the highway
Goin' to a show
Stop in all the by-ways
Playin' rock 'n' roll
Gettin' robbed
Gettin' stoned
Gettin' beat up
Broken boned
Gettin' had
Gettin' took
I tell you folks
It's harder than it looks
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you think it's easy doin' one night stands
Try playin' in a rock roll band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
Hotel, motel
Make you wanna cry
Lady do the hard sell
Know the reason why
Gettin' old
Gettin' grey
Gettin' ripped off
Under-paid
Gettin' sold
Second hand
That's how it goes
Playin' in a band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you wanna be a star on stage and scream
Look out it's rough and mean
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
Goin' to a show

Yep, I'm 57 and feel the very same way. and those days, i though Black Sabbath was cool but now think their music is pretty lame. my only possible explanation is that i now appreciate how AC/DC did not seem to take themselves too seriously. |
| cathiedee1 | Posted: Apr 12, 2013 - 06:21 One night stand! Yeah that's me! |

Am I doing it wrong? Nope. Same here. For some reason I really like the originality of the bagpipe(?) solo. Must be enjoyed at fairly high volume though :-) |

| hugogdt | Posted: Apr 12, 2013 - 06:20 Good to have something of the real AC/DC after this sort of version by Kathleen Edwards of "Money Talks". Even if this is one of the less exciting AC/DC songs though ... |

| bronorb (Wisconsin) | Posted: Feb 08, 2013 - 10:55 Does this band do anything in any other key, ever? |

| winotron (Phoenix, AZ) | Posted: Feb 08, 2013 - 10:52 Awesome to hear some Bon Scott-era AC/DC here. I think the band really went downhill after the loss of Scott. |

| sirdroseph (Outer Mongolia) | Posted: Mar 05, 2010 - 12:55 Yea!! Back when AC/DC was a great blues-rock band. They really should've gone the route of Led Zepplin; Bon Scott is as irreplacable to them as Bonzo was to Zep. |
| Randomax (Wimberley, TX) | Posted: Mar 05, 2010 - 12:55 Exactly how I describe it to folks that don't know what RP is....."dude, it's Beethoven to AC/DC"....perfect! |
