I first heard this song as I entered the Long Beach Arena on 3/12/75 to see Led Zeppelin at 13 years old. I've loved it since.

I REALLY-REALLY-REALLY thought it was JIMI for the 5,6,7 seconds!

Though Trower is fanstastic, I miss Jimi lots-lots-lots!

Took the tour of his pedals at his web site. Pretty simple set up really and deosn't change the fact that it is his playing that is special. Quite different from the kind of pedals the Edge uses and how he uses the effects to create his sound. Glad to see Mr. Trower is still playing and still has the passion for is guitar.

That is wrong on so many levels.  You should be sharing yours with your kids ... "teach your children well," and all that.

Listening to this with the volume way down, I thought for a second it was The Black Keys. Like this a lot!

Sorry you had a bad experience (or were you being ironic?), I loved his pedal work. As far as what he knows, it may be different from what he shows. Saw him 3 years ago, was knocked out.

Bill!  How did you know I'll be seeing Mr. Trower tomorrow night?  Thanks for this preview/retro!  Despite others' comments about his live performances, if he's breathing and has his Marshall at 10, I'll be this close to heaven.

I saw Robin Trower last summer live at the Blues Rock Festival here in the Netherlands.

What a big dissappointment, he constantly uses his effect pedals and the poor guy only knows pentatonic scales. Further more, his singer (and i'm NOT kidding) had to use lyric sheets to sing the lines... Man, i felt really sad for these guys, with all the talent i saw that day, Robin Trower was really, really bad...

The "Bridge of Sighs" 8 track was that bright apple green color!

Pioneer Super Tuner in my '70 XR-7 Cougar.

Good times....

Trower is still around and still rockin'. His latest album, "What Lies Beneath", is quite good IMHOP.

Saw him perform live not too long ago. Great show.

Far out man! What a stab from my past. Remember like yesterday, in high school, on a field trip, in Phoenix, walked into a music store and found this on 8 track, Trowers first album, not this album. Yes, very Hendrix like. Excellent guitar licks. What ever happened to him?
Thanks RP.
