Abbey Road and Rubber Soul are my two favorite Beatle albums. I am old enough to have purchased the original LP vinyl so I noticed the differences when I played the CD's. Less scratchy!

This is like a mashup of original songs. Sheer genius to do this. And all the little mini-songs are good/great. About 4 years earlier, John complained that the Beatles didn't have enough time to write songs with their busy schedules. But this proves they caught up on writing new material. And once they knew the band would soon be finished, they put this together.

The Stooges were not Chuck Berry on speed. They were unique, mixing Funk and Jazz onto Fun House. The Dolls and Ramones were close to Chuck on speed.

If your referring to the commercialization of alt. music in 76' as Punk, you missed the boat as well...Ramones, Iggy,The 101'ers etc.. along w/ a lot more was going on way  before the Pistols...all they were was Chuck Berry on Speed anyway...I stand by it..this is over blown , that would be an an understatement

 Punk was great and lasted many years, but this is great too. Punk wasn't a reaction to the Beatles, it was a reaction to the Yes's and Pink Floyd's of the world. I thought Paul and John added excellent song bits to side 2 of Abbey Road.
