Someone who actually cares about how the music is constructed takes the time to put a considered analysis out there for us to compare with our own take on it and you label them pedantic... and pathetic?  You apparently don't realize it, but RP's comments section exists for listeners who want to comment on the music.  Yeah, the music!  Unfortunately, your blithering little juvenile rants invite responses that are considerably more biting and personal than any musical-preference comment.

You like calling people names and denegrating them, don't you?  You've called RP Supporters "stoners", "losers", "haters", "pedants", "posers", "snobs", "fools" and "stupid" — all in the past 5 months.  It looks to me like James_of_Tucson knows more about music than you do and you're just feeling a bit ignorant.  You are, aren't you — ignorant?  You couldn't formulate a thoughtful opinion about a piece of music if it walked up and smacked you on the ass. You want to feel superior to the rest of us but you don't have the chops.  Really, you don't have any game at all, do you Mikey?  You're just a whiny little troll with a penchant for making people feel crappy about themselves.  That's nice.  Now bite me and go away.

Or better yet, show us that your opinion is worth paying attention to and write something insightful, knowledgable and inspiring about a song played here.  Put some actual thought into it - like, more than 5 seconds worth.  Put something of yourself into it that doesn't suck.  Prove to us that you're not as much of a wanker as you appear.  Can you?

I approve of the subtle scent of hay in the string section and the strong oaking of the 12 string guitar. The subtle tannins in the mix add a slightly astringent taste to the vocals but with a bit of grilled lamb it could be a lovely song to listen to if boiled new potatoes and a salad were served next to it.

Sorry...couldn't resist. Seriously, you seem to have a very deep knowledge of the "bizness" end of these things. I struggle, though, to understand some of these specific technical issues, panning and space, for instance...can you expand? 

I approve of the panning on the 12-string guitar.  The percussion has a lot of space.  Finn's vocal is a little sterile.  I think the song would be better without the strings, but that's just my opinion — and they do complement the woodwinds nicely.  What's wrong with the mix, in your opinion?
