This starts out as a 7 or 8 for me.   After 2 minutes it quickly drops points.   By the end, I'm rating it a 2 or 3 — except I never get to the end because of PSD.

I think it's something from the '70's and I'm just not able to get it.
Aaaaarrrrgh!

It definitely has that '70s groove going on, much like War and Average White Band, as mentioned earlier, also reminiscent of something by Curtis Mayfield.

I think the horns remind you of War around '71 or '72 (Slippin' into Darkness).

Cannot agree more emphatically.  These guys burn down the house!

Getting funky today!  I need to go run some errands, but can't tear myself away.  Can you throw a Barry Manilow song at me so I can detach?

Thanks

Just another wordplay band title related to sampling...like the Kleptones.

Surely you can come up with a few more.

And I do like this tune, and most of their stuff. My children can't figure me out {#Stupid}

C'mon now.  Modern multi-national corporations are not that bad.  Many are more responsive than governments of rich, western democracies.  Activists shareholders can grind a modern company to standstill.  Governments can respond with wire-tappings, arbitrary detentions, water cannons, mace and bayonets.

Thievery Corporation remind me of the famous Emma Goldman quote: "if I can't dance, it's not my revolution". Radical politics and hoppin' toons - what a combo! 8 from the Nottingham jury.
