The vocal, and the incredibly expressive tone of Thom Yorke, on this fantastic song,  fits perfectly with the overall feel of dread.  His voice is just another incredibly expressive instrument in this band's amazing arsenal.

One of my top 10 favorite songs of all time, this one.

I think they're a great band ... nonetheless, much of what I've heard leaves me little better than lukewarm. 
IMO, Thom Yorke is not a good vocalist and his thin flat range helps to step on my ears with their sound.

Man, this guy's lyrics are depressing ("Just cause you feel it, doesn't mean it's there"...in case you were planning on making the mistake of trusting your feelings). Radiohead has made some great music and this song kinda rocks but this was pretty much the last time they really did. Everything since has sounded like music for a video game meant to be played by people with bipolar affective disoder on lithium.

True enough. I've always really liked the band, it's Thom Yorke who makes me want to slap him across the chops with a wet fish. However, after repeated exposure to Radiohead on RP, I find myself increasingly rating them 5 or above. I'm being assimilated. I'll know when the conditioning is complete when I start singing along with Yorke...

This was my favorite song when I saw them.  The live setup for this with the extra drums, wow!  The video does not do the experience justice.
