(I'd love RP to play some King Missile. "Jesus was way cool" is another great song of theirs)

Yes! And I'd love to hear "I Am a Sensitive Artist" or "The Story of Willy."

I can understand why some might like this song, but personally I find it too annoying. And I can see that to some that is the point of it.

Where is my mind? A question I often ask myself. Answered with a shrug. less than satisfying. Results in coffee and staring out of the window for a bit.....I'm rambling

Nice that it's from a compilation cd also but this of course is primordial pixies "surfer rosa" stuff, the only pixies for me.

Cool cool cool and any song that references St Marks and Second Ave is a ten for me ! "With my feet in the air and my head on the ground" - I bet they were not doing yoga.

I guess it partially depends on one's definition of "alternative rock"; there were bands such as The Smiths, R.E.M., Sonic Youth, etc.  I don't think this is even The Pixies' quintessential track, but opinions obviously vary.

There's hardly any processing on the drums at all - pretty clean.  They're just more "up front" than drums usually are mixed; they sound pretty good to me.  Good song.

I dig The Pixies. I gave this a '10' when in many ways, the song doesn't deserve it based on its merits but I just like it (so there!)

Thankfully, just completed a tour where their last stop was Napa Valley @ the Uptown.  Nov 20 - what a show, and this track was easily one of the highlights.
