Exactly, It has grated on me for years. Just get somewhere with the song but it just noodles on in perpetuity.

TOTALLY agree!  Suggestions would include a few tracks from Discipline, Thrak, 3 of a Perfect Pair, Beat, among others...all of which would be, ahem, music to the ears, of most RP listeners, and are much better than this track.

I'm getting goosebumps just thinking of a Wilson remaster of their back catalogue.
Besides, DTS (DVD-Audio) kills SACD in dynamic range and top end signal-to-noise.
The proprietary SACD 1-bit sampling equipment introduces or fails to filter out some rather nasty noise around the 60khz range. This noise is noticeable as beat frequency artifacts on top end tweeters but is filtered out mechanically on stuff like soft domes. ;)

Not one of King Crimson's better albums overall (even among those in the Belew era), but this is a great song.  It feels like a throwback to THRAK, which I really enjoy.  Seeing the double trio formation of King Crimson live a few times was a real treat.
