OK, it's a pet peeve, I admit it. All singers are required to pronounce the word ''thing'' like the word ''thin.'' If they don't, they'll be killed by the same people who force everyone to sound like Coldplay.

Renee Fleming plays Endlessly (by Muse), theme included  in their recent Albúm:
Dark Hope (2010)...beautiful.

What i think: It is very likely that we get in the mood to review the original artists, when we heard the "covers" by Renee, this only shows that it is not so easy to build great songs in the field of light music-pop-soul. But, I find it interesting that Renee foray in the field of light music-pop-soul, which shows the other side of this amazing singer, classical, opera, here appears bereft of any career aspirations, with humility, open mind, unprejudiced, a sense liberating, perhaps to prove that life is indeed very short, and you only live once. And if this is important for any human being, is essential for an artist.

I totally concur, don't get this group, never will. They sound like a group that teenagers that have not developed a sophisticated sense of music would like. I don't know like viewers of the Twilight movie series or something.{#Wink}

YES PLEASE to all of the above!  I swear "Butterflies and Hurricanes" is my favorite of all Muse songs, but then I hear "Hysteria" and it's insane energy become my favorite. But then "Bliss" plays... {#Cheesygrin}

Totally agree on the Glastonbury set - really made me sit up and take notice of Muse, they had pretty much washed over me before that. This studio recording & the live performance at Glasto are barely recognisable as the same song. And just to piss off the U2 denigrators, Muse & Edge on "Where The Streets Have No Name" were something to see.

All Muse songs sounds exactly the same to me with that hideous falsettos.
They only become famous in USA after Twilight Series and then spit where they eated saying they hated to do this after the third movie.
The sold songs for the 3 movies and after became commercial complain about it. I respect Paramore more than they, in spite I don't like both because they droped out after 1º movie.

It's probably because most Muse songs have a similar over-the-top, operatic styling as Queen.  AND speaking of Opera — check out Renee Fleming's cover of Endlessly!  Gorgeous (alas her other covers of Death Cab & Peter Gabriel leave something to be desired...)
