Exactly! A very fitting subject for a song. I believe the Police did something similar with "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic". It's a much more interesting topic than simply making the call.

Go to Sleep. Another great song off the same album, but careful, it's one that will put you to sleep, which is why they would call it correctly a lullaby. What a great poet, musician.

You've got that right. We have actually turned into environmental villains, blocking progress on combating global warming on every front. I would like to simply blame the present government ( and its narrow tar sands focus ) for this sad state of affairs but, seeing as how this government was democratically elected, we all have to share the blame. I don't think that the general population, as a whole, gets how serious this situation is. They think that global warming means that we will have nice warm winters so bring it on....we are in deep, deep  trouble...with rising sea levels Nova Scotia will turn into an island.

Overall, the album isn't bad. In my opinion, it starts off quite strong; the two best songs on it are this one and "Greeting Card Aisle", nos. 2 & 3 on the CD, respectively. Near the end, the songs get a little too slow & similar-sounding for me...still good, but not quite what the beginning of the disc is. Still, an overall solid effort.

She has one of the best voices in music today. Her album "Songs For Clem" is old country standards that she recorded in her house for her father.

Her best album though is "You Were Here" it's just amazing for so many reasons, highly recommended for everyone.
